Yes, the Oregon Interfaith Hub begins a new era in 2023 by partnering with the Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene (UUCE). UUCE will be our venue for all 6 Interfaith Services this year!
Before going any further with details for 2023, our leadership team wants to give some love to our community partners over these past 21+ years of serving Eugene and Springfield. Thank you to our longtime First Christian Church partners who faithfully provided our home and tech support for interfaith services for almost 19 years including this past September 11th! We love you big time!!
Also, our hearts go out to our friends at the Center for Spiritual Living in Eugene for providing their lovely space and support staff over these past 18 months. We love you!
Our first Interfaith Service at UUCE was held the evening of January 24th in their lovely sanctuary space at 1685 W 13th Ave. This first service was beautifully simple, sacred, and contemplative on the theme: “Healing the Divide: Rebuilding Community.”
The Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene’s Mission is “Empowered by love, we transform ourselves and serve our world.” UU has had a long-standing commitment to support and embrace diversity in many areas of human life including interfaith. They are natural partners for interfaith organizations like the Oregon Interfaith Hub. We are very fortunate and grateful to have UUCE as partners in serving our community and world.
We have scheduled 5 more servicesat UUCE for 2023…on the 4th Tuesday of every other month: March 28th, May 23rd, July 25th, September 26th, and November 28th. Go ahead and mark these dates on your calendar. We may alter the September date to the 11th. We’ll let you know well ahead. Come join us at UUCE!!
