Len Seligman

Len Seligman is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, retired computer science researcher, and long-time student of Buddhism and Sufism. He is ordained as an interfaith minister from the Inayati Sufi Order. In early 2023, he begins a two-year Mindfulness Teacher Training with Buddhist teachers Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
Len’s musical recognition includes: First Place in the Great American Song Contest, 2nd Grand Prize in the Dallas Songwriting Contest, and Finalist in the UK, Mid-Atlantic, and Positive Music Songwriting Contests. Len’s last album, “Our Turn Now,” rose to #4 on the Folk Alliance DJ chart. Len has a PhD in Information Technology from George Mason University and was Chief Scientist of the Information Technology Center at the MITRE Corporation, where he performed applied research and strategic technology planning for the VA, CDC, and other US Government agencies.
Len and his wife Ella moved to Eugene from Sarasota, Florida in 2021. Together, they spend many hours outdoors, opening to guidance from the “holy book of Nature.” Len is the father of two adult sons and grandfather to Danny.
